How do you approach problems? Problem management is something that everyone has to deal with. You can let problems fly but generally speaking, if you do let them fly, problems will come back to bite you!

You may have an angry or dissapointed customer/client who you feel may be exaggerating or blowing things out of proportion, or whatever the case may be. The best thing to do is to pick up the phone or go and see them, get the matter sorted out and get on with it.

So, it’s about dealing with problems or any issues as and when they crop up - straight away, as quickly as possible because in actual fact, 9 times out of 10, 83% of problems aren't really much of a problem! It’s just a question of tackling it and doing everything you can to sort it out.

If you’re calm, professional, showing ownership and accountability and you’re there sorting it out then the problem, more often that not, will go away.

Be responsible to the situation. Most often the case is that people just want to be listened to. So listen and help resolve.
